Mothers’ Day Afternoon Tea

An indulgent afternoon tea featuring a selection of dainty tea sandwiches, sweets and squares, and a bottomless pot of tea. You'll be seated in our quaint Rose & Kettle Tearoom, located in the old Settle House built circa 1850, at the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum. There are two hour and a half seatings, the first from 1pm until 2:30pm and the second from 2:30pm until 4pm. Tickets MUST be purchased in advance. Sheep Shearing

Join us at the Farm Museum as our two ewes, Layla and Miriam, loose their thick wooly winter coats. Shearer Peter Kozier will be demonstrating both traditional and modern shearing methods. You can watch the process as it happens, ask questions and afterwards enjoy the afternoon at the Farm! In the case of rain the event will still go on but will be moved inside one of our barns. This event is by donation.

Harvest Weekend

Come out to the Farm for a special two-day celebration of harvest traditions and activities: food preparation and preservation, textile and handcraft demonstrations, woodworking and blacksmithing along with some seasonal fun.
