Our famous, super-sized strawberry shortcake, fresh local strawberries and real cream served with homemade lemonade and enjoyed in the farmyard. Live musical entertainment with Vince Morash and Friends. With this event you can purchase tickets in advance or at the door. Advance tickets guarantee your strawberry shortcake, whereas walk-in are on a first-come-first-served basis. The Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum is pleased to partner with Sisterhood Fibres to deliver the first annual Cole Harbour Fibre Frolic. Admission is free to this family-friendly event. Demonstrations and vendors will be on-site from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Demonstrations will include spinning, weaving, felting and knitting! Come out to the Farm for a special two-day celebration of harvest traditions and activities: food preparation and preservation, textile and handcraft demonstrations, woodworking and blacksmithing, along with some seasonal fun.
