Soap Making Workshop

Nova Scotians who love natural homemade soap products can learn how to make it the traditional way at The Cole Harbour Heritage Farm.
A two-day artisan soap making workshop on April 28 6 – 9 pm and April 29, 6 – 7 pm will feature Nova Scotia soap maker Maggie Jenkins who has dedicated over 5 years to learning and mastering the craft. “The aspect of soap making that keeps me interested, is that every batch can be customized to what you want to create, you have complete control over the ingredients, the design, and the process from start to finish. I never get bored!”
Participants will be taught everything they need to know to safely make their own cold process soaps from scratch. Attendees will learn about scenting, using natural additives and how to source their own raw ingredients from suppliers. The workshop includes all raw materials. Participants will take home 9-10 of their own soaps.

*A minimum of 5 participants is required for this workshop to go ahead*

Cancellation Policy: An administration fee of 15% will be deducted from all refunds.
* If the cancellation is requested a minimum of one week prior to the workshop date, a full refund LESS the administration fee will be issued.
* If the cancellation is requested less than one week but more than 48 hours before the workshop date, a 50% refund, LESS the administration fee, will be issued. (For instance, in the case of a $70 workshop, the total refund would be $35 (50%) less $10.50 (Admin fee) = $24.50).
*If the cancellation is requested less than 48 hours before the workshop, no refund will be given.
