Rhubarb Rhapsody

Calling all rhubarb lovers! Join us Saturday, May 24th, 2025, for an evening filled with delightful rhubarb desserts!  This is a walk-in event, just drop in anytime between 6pm and 8pm. Cost is $20/person + tax and includes a selection of five incredible rhubarb desserts, as well as your choice of World Tea House loose leaf tea or Port City Coffee and a glass of our unique rhubarb switchel!

Join us, Saturday, July 5th, 2025, for our most popular event of the year, where we celebrate Nova Scotia strawberries, in a farmyard filled with music!  We will have house-made Strawberry Shortcake, freshly squeezed, ice cold lemonade, and live music from 1pm to 3pm; no better way to spend a summer's afternoon!  Ticket and walk-in options available! Tickets are $16.95 + tax and will be available through our online shop in June!

Farmyard Concert: A John Denver Tribute

Back by popular demand is our evening concert in the farmyard! Inspired by a summer evening at a country fair, the Rose and Kettle Tearoom will be serving up a variety of snacks including homemade caramel corn, salted popcorn, chili and more! We will also have a variety of your favourite local beers and ciders available for purchase. Headlining the event will be David Bradshaw and friends for a John Denver tribute concert!  Grab your cowboy boots and dancing shoes and mosey on over for a stomping good time!  This event will have ticket and walk in options available.  Advanced tickets will be available (at a discounted price) through our online shop closer to the event. Join us, Saturday, August 9th, 2025, as we gather in the farmyard for our annual long table dinner to celebrate the abundance of fresh, local, quality Nova Scotian food available during the late summer season. Sourcing ingredients from our own gardens, and local farmers and fishers to present a thoughtfully curated six course dinner.  There will also be the option to add a wine paring to your meal. Tickets will go on sale closer to the day of the event and there will be 34 seats available. Members of the Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society (CHRHS) will gain early access to tickets the morning they become available.
