Farmer for a Day is a school program delivered by the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture for grade 3 students in the HRM. The Farm will host this 3 day event for the 3rd consecutive year in September 2014, welcoming over 300 students for a very special agricultural experience. Farmer for a Day gives students from elementary schools in Halifax Regional Municipality a chance to explore traditional and modern-day farming through interactive activities and sessions with representatives from the agricultural sector.
