Rhubarb Rhapsody

Join us for dessert on Saturday, June 10th! We will be serving up a delicious buffet of all things rhubarb to celebrate the season!

This year's dessert buffet menu includes rhubarb fool, rhubarb cheesecake, rhubarb crumble, rhubarb custard pie, and rhubarb cupcakes! We will even have a rhubarb switchel to drink (along with tea & coffee)!

No ticket purchase necessary. Cost is $15.00 (+tax) per person at the door! See you then!

50th Anniversary Picnic

Join us in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society!

David Bradshaw will be playing live in the farmyard, and we invite all of you to BYOP (bring your own picnic) to celebrate!

Complimentary cake and lemonade will be served by the Rose & Kettle Tearoom for dessert!

This is a free, family-friendly event!

Our annual Strawberry Social is taking place on Saturday July 8th!
100 advance tickets are available, and we will also be serving walk-ins until supplies last!

Join us in this celebration of wool and fibre with sheep shearing, colourful fibre marketplace, live demonstrations, activities for kids, and delicious food!

Introduction to Blacksmithing Workshop

Join us at the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum for a one day “Introduction to Blacksmithing”. The workshop takes place inside our historic Blacksmith Shop, a working shop developed within one of the site’s original heritage barns. The workshop gets underway at 9am. You’ll start with a brief presentation by the Blacksmith (fresh coffee provided!) on the process of blacksmithing and the role of the Blacksmith in the community. Once you’ve completed the presentation you will head to the forge where, under the instruction and guidance of the Blacksmith, you will create your own project to take home (project has been pre-selected to optimize learning outcomes).
