Mother’s Day Tea

Join us for our traditional Mother's Day Tea, taking place on May 11th, 2025! The menu will include a selection of dainty tea sandwiches, one of our signature scones with jam and cream, and a variety of decadent sweets!  Beverage choice will include a fruit cordial as well as a choice of our freshly ground Port City Coffee or our loose leaf teas from World Tea House. Tickets are $39+tax for adults (children's pricing available for ages 3-10).  We will be offering two seatings for this event, one at 12:30pm and another at 3pm. Tickets will be made available through our online shop closer to the event.

Rhubarb Rhapsody

Calling all rhubarb lovers! Join us Saturday, May 24th, 2025, for an evening filled with delightful rhubarb deserts!   This event will have both advanced tickets and a walk in option and will be $20+tax.  Your ticket will include one of each dessert,  a rhubarb cheesecake, rhubarb crisp, a rhubarb custard pie, rhubarb fool, and a rhubarb cupcake! Tickets will also include your choice of World Tea House tea or Port City Coffee as well as a unique rhubarb switchel!  Tickets will be made available through our online shop closer to the event.

Fibre Frolic

Join us Saturday, May 31st, 2025, for our annual Fibre Frolic event where we celebrate all things woolly!  There will be sheep shearing demonstrations by Nova Scotian Sheep Shearer Peter Kozier, a colorful marketplace, some hands on demonstrations, as well as our Frolic Grill serving up delicious local sausages! This event is a great family event and an opportunity to try something new, meet to local artisans, find some inspiration for your next craft, and learn about the art of sheep shearing! Strawberry Social

Join us, Saturday, July 5th, 2025,  for one of our most popular events of the year where we celebrate Nova Scotia's famous strawberries!  We will have housemade Strawberry Shortcake,  freshly squeezed, ice cold Lemonade, and live music from 1pm to 3pm; no better way to spend a summer's day!  Ticket and walk in options available! Tickets are $15+tax and will be available through our online shop closer to the event!

Farmyard Concert: A John Denver Tribute

Back by popular demand is our evening concert in the farmyard! Inspired by a summer evening at a country fair, the Rose and Kettle Tearoom will be serving up a variety of snacks including homemade caramel corn, salted popcorn, chili and more! We will also have a variety of your favourite local beers and ciders available for purchase. Headlining the event will be David Bradshaw and friends for a John Denver tribute concert!  Grab your cowboy boots and dancing shoes and mosey on over for a stomping good time!  This event will have ticket and walk in options available.  Advanced tickets will be available (at a discounted price) through our online shop closer to the event. FEAST

Join us, Saturday, August 9th, 2025, as we gather in the farmyard for our annual long table dinner to celebrate the abundance of fresh, local, quality Nova Scotian food available during the late summer season. Sourcing ingredients from our own gardens, and local farmers and fishers to present a thoughtfully curated six course dinner.  There will also be the option to add a wine paring to your meal. Tickets will go on sale closer to the day of the event and there will be 34 seats available. Members of the Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society (CHRHS) will gain early access to tickets the morning they become available.
