We are Hiring!

The Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum has a small permanent staff and relies heavily on volunteers to support areas of the museum, year round.  During the operational season, from May through October, and occasionally off-season, we are joined by seasonal staff working in a variety of functions, from exhibits and archives to retail and marketing, to gardening and grounds keeping.  To learn more about the employment opportunities available, please visit here.  Read More →

The Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society is awarded The John Bragg Award!

We have some very exciting news to share! We (The Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society) were one of three organizations chosen to receive The John Bragg Award of $50,000! The John Bragg Award empowers communities to share the stories of inspiring people who have shaped Atlantic Canadian history and society. The Rosemary Eaton Legacy Project, supported by the River Philip Foundation, will include the installation of an outdoor classroom and art installation along the Farm Walk, inspired by Rosemary Eaton’s passion and advocacy for wetlands in Cole Harbour.
