Reopening Guidelines
We are officially opening on JULY 1ST!
The Farm will open with a reduced operating week (Open Wednesday through Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday), from 10-4pm.
Exterior spaces only will be open initially; the grounds and gardens, pathways, pastures and wetland.
There will be a limit of 50 people on site at one time, as well as limits in certain spaces such as the veggie garden.
Directional signage will guide visitor movement. On our pathways, please be prepared to step aside to maintain physical distancing.
Fewer animals have joined us this summer. They may be visited only in outdoor enclosures (which is always where they will be in fair weather!)
The Rose and Kettle Tearoom will be offering a limited outdoor menu only, to enjoy at our carefully spaced picnic tables, at one of our many outdoor benches, or bring a blanket and make it a picnic. The menu will include coffee, tea, lemonade, and baked goods initially, with the possibility of expanding in the future.
The gift shop will remain closed for the time being, however we are working on developing an online shop with curbside (farmyard, in our case) pickup. Feel free to ask a staff member about any or our regular items while on site. The Blacksmith shop will be open each Thursday as usual.
For the safety of our staff and volunteers who must access interior areas, only our secondary washrooms will be opened on a limited basis. Please consult a staff member to access.
We understand this is a lot of change but we plan to make the very best of our wonderful outdoor spaces with guided walks, new gardens to discover, and enhanced pathways!
We can’t wait to see you on July 1st!
