Reopening Guidelines

We are officially opening on JULY 1ST! The Farm will open with a reduced operating week (Open Wednesday through Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday), from 10-4pm. Exterior spaces only will be open initially; the grounds and gardens, pathways, pastures and wetland. There will be a limit of 50 people on site at one time, as well as limits in certain spaces such as the veggie garden. Directional signage will guide visitor movement. On our pathways, please be prepared to step aside to maintain physical distancing. Fewer animals have joined us this summer. They may be visited only in outdoor enclosures (which is always where they will be in fair weather!) Rafflebox Winner!

Over the weekend our Executive Director, Janice and CHRHS Treasurer, Victoria handed over the 50/50 raffle cheque to our winner, Allison Samson! Wednesday Pop-up Market

Starting this Wednesday, June 17th, we will be hosting our weekly Wednesday pop-up market once again this Season from 2-4 p.m. We will have a new vendor join us this year, as well as our usual crew. Reopening

We’re getting closer! The Farm Museum will open in the coming weeks. What will that look like for us this year? We are reviewing the recommendations for museums and archives, as well as parks and outdoor recreation, and of course food service. There are lots of details to be worked out. Here is what we know so far: The Farm will open with a reduced season, days and hours. Exterior spaces only will be open initially; the grounds and gardens, pathways, pastures and wetland. Farm Reopening Plans

With the recent announcement from the province of N.S. regarding the re-opening of businesses and organizations, we are busy developing a plan for what that will look like for us. FARM CAMP UPDATE

With the ongoing challenges presented by Covid-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Farm Camp program for the Summer of 2020.
