Join us on Sunday, December 6th from 5:30 to 8pm for an Old Fashioned Christmas at the Farm. The Giles House, Harris House and Blacksmith Shop will be festively decorated and ready to welcome the community for some traditional Christmas fun. Come and watch the blacksmith working at the forge, take part in the family activities including cookie decorating and ornament decorating or step back in time in the historic Giles House, with fire and oil lamps burning, and enjoy carols and stories of Christmas long ago. Farmer for a Day is a school program delivered by the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture for grade 3 students in the HRM. The Farm Museum will host this 3 day event for the 4th consecutive year in September 2015 , welcoming over 300 students for a very special agricultural experience.
